Not normal: Having a your gums feel squishy is a sign that something is not right. The tooth may have necrotic pulp and is beginning to abscess, or there may be something under the gums. If you are in a temporary crown there may be temporary cement or retraction cord left under your gums. It would be a good idea to go back to your dentist and have him/her check the situation.

Get Checked: Does not sound normal. Go back and see the Dentist who treated you for a follow-up evaluation. Good Luck.
