Menopause possible: The absence of regular menstruation may or may not signal menopause, but in the right setting it certainly makes it suspicious. Hot flashes, dryness on your skin/eyes and vagina, hair loss, insomnia, mood irritability, and decreased energy are all additional signs of menopause. There is also that remote possibility of pregnancy :) Lower back pain with radiation may mean sciatica unrelated.
