Lipoma's: These are tumors made up of fat cells that are densely packed together. They are benign. These can be annoying and may even be painful depending on where they are. If they bother you then see your physician for a referral to have them removed.

Fatty tumor: Lipomas. Lip is for lipid or fat and oma is for tumor. These fat deposits are not atached to the overlying skin or deep fascia which covers the muscle. Usually are non tender, removed if they become tender or cosmetically enlarged.
