Doctor can evaluate: A doctor will have to get more of the story about the nipples, and do an exam (one can start with her primary care doctor). Nipple rashes can be from friction (from shirts, sports equipment like swimming in an inner tube, etc...), eczema, an allergic reaction, etc... Nipple discharges can be from hormonal imbalances, eczema, allergic reactions, infections, medications, etc...
