Can my toothpaste make my teeth sensitive? if so, why is that?

Yes: Sometimes the additives in the multifaceted toothpastes can cause sensitivity at the root surface if there are exposed roots. Go to a simple one -- regular Crest or Tom's of Maine for 1-2 weeks and see if things improve. If not, then see your Dentist and bring the toothpaste with you. Good Luck.
