I'm on 45mg of methadone a day. i suffer from chron's disease had surgery 20 years ago. the methadone work wonders for my loose bowels and pain. dose anything enhance the length or strength of methadone like grapefruit.

Methadone: Methadone has one of the longest half lives of any anesthetic drug ... But if you're not seeing an adequate effect any longer, talk to your doctor about adjusting the dose. Things like grapefruit juice can wreak havoc and be incredibly dangerous in this context (not to mention cause a lot of unwanted side effects). Hope that helps!
