?: Few doctors are specialized in both, Immunologists/allergists deal with a spectrum of diseases from the immunodeficient, meaning aren't able to fight infection easily , to the other extreme of the spectrum, the over immune, hypersensitive or allergic, while the infectious disease deal with difficult/complex infections in different patients requiring complex therapy, including HIV/AIDS,
