Calcium: Carbonate is a good buffer. A longer acting agent would be a proton pump inhibitor like omeprazole.

Reflux or heartburn: If your reflux is burning that high then you should seek out evaluation and treatment from your doctor. In the mean time try over counter Prilosec or Pepcid (famotidine) complete.
