See Dr if persists: Swelling of eye lid(s) on just one side, with no evidence of conjunctivitis, may possibly be due to an insect bite on the eyelid? Another possibility might be an allergic reaction or sensitivity to contact lens cleaner or another chemical. If there's no pain or disturbance of vision or photophobia it's less likely serious, but would suggest being a physician to evaluate your condition.
