Perhaps: Vaginal discharge changes throughout the menstrual cycle. If this always happens to you every month then it is likely normal. If this is a new change for you then you may want to have the discharge tested for infection. The consistency and feel of the cervix is not something one needs to pay much attention to. Very few conclusions can be made from the way cervix feels except during labor
