A member asked:

My 10 year old son complains of chest pain upon exertion. is this cause for concern?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Chest pain: Your son needs to be evaluated for his chest pain by a pediatric cardiologist ASAP, no physical education until he is evaluated, you can request a referral from your 1ry care physician & note for school to be excluded from gym until cleared by the cardiologist. If you can't get an appointment soon, take him to E.R. or urgent care center. Good luck.
