Quite common: When your gallbladder is gone its function for STORAGE of bile which continues to be made by your LIVER is also gone and until the bile system ofr ducts enlarge to take over the storage function ( 3-6 months usually) the bile goes directly in your stomach and this may be a IRRITANT!!! Ask your PCP for a diet and some medication which will help this situation! Hope this helps explain it! Dr Z
