Hi...my 3y old son normally gets 5ml of zyrtec (cetirizine) a night on doctor's advice. today we have 10ml by mistake. is it ok? or should we go to the er? thanks.

Do not worry: Zyrtec (cetirizine) is quite safe and 10 ml will do him no harm. There is no need to go to emergency room. It may make him slightly drowsy or dry his mouth but usually will cause no problems. It is a non sedating type of an antihistamine. Try to be careful with all medications.
