Don't expect it: Babies have the ability to hold on to exposures in the womb that are available to testing after birth.As soon as baby starts forming poo (after 12 wks) and growing hair (earlier) they retain traces of any drug exposure. Mothers pee may clear by a few days or weeks if a light user, but if you become a target of child and family services, expect to run into big problems. You lose baby in my state

MJ half-life?: They measure both the level of THC and its metabolites (breakdown products) and depending upon the sensitivity of the test they can be detected as long as one after you stop using it. As long as you're pregnant and have a young child that's in your charge it's best for both of you if you just don't indulge.
