A member asked:

Hello im 27 weeks pregnant and baby movement has slowed down alot in last 2 days . should i be worried?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: Your perception of fetal movements as well as their character/quality may change as the pregnancy progresses. Ask your Obs or midwife to instruct you about recording "Fetal Kicks" and when to seek additional screening by ultrasound or FHR monitoring/NST. If you are worried or have had a complicated / "high risk" pregnancy, call your doctor or visit your hospital OB-ER /Obstetrical Eval. Unit
