Outer and middle ear infection. given meds but no painkillers. unbearable pain = ginger juice in ear. it burned like fire, i rinsed out. any damage?

Good job.: Outer ear infections make the ear more tender and sensitive. If you poured an irritant on a sensitive area, washing thoroughly with water was the right thing to do. Try some Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin for the pain.
