This is the time for egg implantation & secretion of Relaxin, the hormone that loosens pelvic girdle ligaments. Pelvic girdle pain, often refers to mid-pelvis and low back, manifests about this time. Joint Hypermobility Syndrome, an inherited condition found in about 20% women, magnifies this phenomenon.
