Bowel effect: You had a big surgery done just recently. That places a lot of stress on the body. Anesthetic medicines effect the way the intestines function which often cause bloating and gas. Pain medication can cause constipation. Blood thinning agents, given before surgery to prevent DVT clot formation, can cause menstrual bleed. Your IUD is an unlikely partiticipate in these post surgical recovery issues
