Both can be used: These agents can be used together. Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is used to optimize and retain skin moisture. Retinol and other Retin compounds facilitate the rapid turnover of cells promoting re epithelialization which can even skin tone and soften wrinkles with collagen stimulation. Retin compounds can cause dryness, and application should ideally be followed with use of a moisturizer such as HA.
