Huh?WhatDidYouSay??: The pain went away. That's good. Now you'll have to see if the hearing was affected and/or if the tinnitus worsens. You'll probably know within a week or so, after the acute episode resolves (healing) and everything settles back to normal (or a new normal). A balloon popping shouldn't matter much, unless you have a very fragile hearing apparatus. The pain being completely resolved is a good sign
