Many options: If you have a familiar clotting disorder then pregnancy is much more high risk than birth control. Consider getting tested to see if you are a carrier of these genetic disorders. Progesterone only methods such as Skyla, Mirena (levonorgestrel) and Nexplanon are still options. A hormone free Paragard copper IUD is another. You could also use condoms as an option.
