Agoraphobia is a: fear of being outdoors, literally a fear of the market place. We feel out of control because we are out of our physical comfort zone, i.e., at home. Social anxiety is a fear that we do not measure up to what is expected, e.g., we will embarrass ourselves by saying or doing something "wrong." Peace and good health.
