It depends: The metabolites of heroin stick around longer than the heroin. Some of the metabolites can come from the use of other opiates besides heroin.

Heroin metabolites: Hey wake up - this means that she has used heroin. Metabolites only show up after metabolism in the liver so she has used Heroin - get her some help before she dies from using heroin.
