A member asked:

My partner is taking folic acid as we are trying to conceive would it be of any benefit for me to do the same?

Probably not: The pregnant woman needs to have adequate stores of folate (folic acid) for neurologic development of the fetus. There is no known benefit to the fetus with male folate (folic acid) supplementation and you probably get enough of it from the foods you eat.
