Cardiac arrythmia: Fast irregular heart beat is a form of cardiac arrhythmia, needs medical attention, hot shower may make it worse, get it checked out ASAP

Document: A fast,irregular heartbeat can be a significant abnormal heart rhythm, therefore it's important to be checked with an examination and an EKG to identify your heart rhythm. If you have a tachyarrhythmia,you will need to be checked for an overactive thyroid and will need antiarrhymic medication. If no abnormal heart rhythm is found, anxiety state may be the problem. See your physician soon.

See Cardiologist: If u r sure that the heartbeat is fast & irregular (have u timed it? Can u tell if it the spacing is the same or varies between beats?) then u possibly have atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter - irregular heart rhythms which increase ur risk for stroke. U may need to have ur thyroid checked; alternatively, u may need to b on blood thinners & meds to slow ur heart rate. Check w/ ur doctor!
