Medication Effects: Your Life is Precious! Sertraline is a medication for depression and anxiety. 200mg/day is a very high dose and can even worsen the depression. Propranolol is used for angina and high blood pressure. It can cause depression. Cocodamol (Codeine with Paracetamol) a narcotic can cause depression and anxiety Go to E.R. for complete diagnosis; see a Cardiologist and a Psychiatrist for treatment.
