Good day. i have just discovered a few minutes ago that i am getting white spots on my stomach. i went on the internet and looked for possible causes. i am on thyroid medication and diagnosed with hasimotos. could it be that? :(

Abd while spots: Can be folliculitis, infection of hair follicle or eczema, or fungal infection I don't think it is directly related to Hasimotos except that when your thyroid is malfunctioning you do not fight infection as well ( personal observation) . May try zinc oxide ointment twice a day x 5 and see if it helps. if not improved with zinc oxide may need antibiotics /antifungal F/U w/ doc
