Ped. pelvic pain: Pelvic pain (non-specific) in an 8 year old is can be due to may things but certain etiologies are easily ruled out. Blood in urine is not normal in an 8 year old. Urinary tract infection appears to be ruled out however vaginal causes may be contributing. Certain pathologies or trauma in young females should always be ruled out by a pediatric gynecologist.
