Unsure: Is the stinging associated with any skin. changes in the nipple? The stinging may be the result of hormonal changes, depending on where you are in your cycle. If there are changes in the skin of the nipple, like a scaly red rash, it's likely benign, but I would have skin changes evaluated by MD. Paget's disease of the nipple appears as a rash to the nipple and is associated with breast cancer.
