A member asked:

I have pain on the right side of my head, in my left ear & my left shoulder is killing me.. what can be the cause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Musculoskeletal : Sounds like you've strained your neck muscles causing trigger point pains in your shoulder and at the base of your skull. These knotted muscle spasms put pressure on your occipital nerves causing lateral sided headaches. Treat with Ibuprofen or Naproxen first. If no relief, see a chiropractor for only a couple visits. If still no relief, find a family doctor who TRIGGER POINT INJECTIONS.
