Pulled Muscle: Probably muscle sprain. Take some over the counter pain medications for a few days and see your primary doctor for worsening or shortness of breath.

Shoulder blade pain: The first thought is muscle of course, trapezius or less likely sternocleidomaistoid. If tender to touch at all that would go along with this.
