Ccasionally i have moderate to severe pain that starts in my stomach and travels down, as if i ate a piece of broken glass.

More info needed: This symptom is nonspecific and more of a description of symptoms is needed in order to make a differential diagnosis. Possible causes include simple gas pains, adhesions if you've had prior abdominal surgery, hernia,gall stones,etc. Your physician would take a thorough history,perform an abdominal examination and order any necessary tests in order to make a diagnosis.
