Not tinea versicolor: Post-inflammatory pigment change. How long since rash. Any clue about the cause of the rash? How long did the rash persist? Was it treated? With what? How dark is your normal skin? When you see a skin DR be prepared to answer these questions. There are several possible discussions to have after an exam and more questions.
