A member asked:

I was perscribed ultram/tramadol for my tumors & now new pain for a messed up epidural yet im breastfeeding a 2week old, is this safe to take or toss?

Probably Safe: Ultram is probably safe for breast feeding. Limited information has shown minimal risk for problems in the baby or in your milk production. However, I advise you to closely monitor how your baby is doing while you are on the medication. Again there is a small risk, but your pain control and health are also important, because the healthier you are, the better it is for your baby! I hope this helps.
