Can you take tramadol while breastfeeding? are there any side effects?

I would not: It is a synthetic opioid, and if you can avoid it while breast feeding, i would.

1.Yes 2.No significa: Tramadol has been studied in detail & found to be safe for breast feeding mothers at regular therapeutic doses. The relative infant dose is < 3% of the maternal dose.
