A member asked:

My menstrual cycle comes at different times of the month. can i ovulate shortly after my period? i think there is a possibility i may be pregnant.

Normal: There is some normal variation in cycle length and even regular cycles seldom start the same day each month since months vary in length. Ovulation usually occurs 14 days before your period starts. This can mean that conception occurs with intercourse the week after your period ends. If in doubt, do a pregnancy test and repeat it in 3-5 days if it is negative. Hope this helps.
