Probably not: Since he has not had any coughing/swallowing issues the toy probably passed into the digestive tract. Biggest concern is if the toy had any lead components as the digestive juices can leach that out and can cause lead poisoning. Most foreign objects will pass but if you are really worried see your MD for consult - may consider xray to see if object remains inside your child.
