how to get rid of folic acid from my body,and is it true it can cause pain in the joints especially in the hands?

Folic acid: folic acid is water soluble, therefore it is washed out with body fluids and drinking water. Folate is also know as vitamin B9. It would certainly take a lot to become toxic and have side effects. It probably does not cause the sptoms you are experiencing.
