I needed a full bladder for an ultrasound. as i was waiting i notice that my kidneys started to ache is that normal when a bladder is completely full?

Yes: Often when the bladder reaches capacity or if it is irritated, aching discomfort can radiate to the lower part of your back or even involve the flank regions (where the kidneys are). The discomfort should resolve quickly once the bladder is emptied.
