STD or vaginitis: Some vaginal discharge is normal, but from you question, it sounds like what you are experiencing is not normal for you. Changes in vaginal may be due to hormonal fluctuations or vaginal infection or a sexually transmitted disease. You should be tested for vaginitis caused by bacteria, yeast, or trichomonas, and also for sexually transmitted diseases including gonorrhea, chlamydia, and herpes.

Infection? STD?: Any new, increased, or otherwise abnormal vaginal discharge should be medically evaluated. Colored discharge (yellow, creamy white) suggests infection. At your age (24) that often means an STD (gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomonas) but of course only if you are sexually active and at risk. Get it checked out soon. Good luck.
