Have it checked: The skin around the eyes is very thin and sensitive. If you wear make up make sure it is hypoallergenic. If you are medications, review for possible side effects. Allergies may be issue to - make sure bedding is washed in sensitive skin products. See your MD for good check up to help determine the cause.
