Sure: Make sure you have washed the cut well with brisk running cool water and clean with mild soap. Pat dry and apply the cream twice a day. Watch for excessive redness or pain over the next few days - if develops see your MD. Make sure your finger movement is ok. Cuts by very sharp items like knives and glass can sometimes be deeper than they look and can damage underlying tendons.
