By far: The most common cause of decreased liver density is fatty infiltration.

"Early" or "fatty"?: The report could be saying "fatty"infiltration of the liver, which would be consistent with decreased attenuation, meaning there is an increase in the fat content in your liver. You should clarify that with your doctor.
