It happens: In the teen years the body does not always ovulate, even when you have a period and when this doesn't happen, it can change the pattern of cycles. Up to 90 days between cycles is occasionally seen.At that point, most recommend you see your doc or an OBGYN to consider inducing a cycle with hormones.
