Trust ur doctors: Most of the time no need for pre-op exams, anesthesiologist would ask for if they think the case is warranted, otherwise, they wil do their assessment before the surgery, please ask the anesthesiologist any questions when he/she sees your son while doing the pre-op assessment, goodluck

Pre-op exam: Call the urologist & ask "would it be helpful to have a pediatrician examine the child before surgery ?".Can also call pediatrician and ask for a pre-op Right before surgery , anesthesia talks w/the family they ask about family reactions to anesthesia, asthma, meds(bring list), DM, HTN. NO NSAIDS, ASA, fish oil ginger for 10 days pre-surgery( bleeds) Almost all wake up. Do not worry f/u w/doc
