I've had sinusitis for 3 wks, taken ab's for 1 wk so far & still have a swollen cavity in one cheek. how do i make sure that it doesn't turn chronic?

Sinus : You may follow up with your doctor to be re-examined, or see an ENT for another opinion. If you are a smoker, by chance, quitting will decrease your risk of chronic infections.

Sinusitis : Steroids as nasal spray or oral prednisone can be added . See GP for review and maybe think about changing antibiotics . Quitting smoking would also help if you are smoker.
