To Know A Nose: My guess is an infection. So get an antibiotic ointment from the local whatever store and if it doesn't get better in 2-3 days or gets worse then get it examined by a doctor. That's a pretty sensitive area and you don't want it to spread. If it hurts real bad right now, then go get it checked right away so they can decide if it's a virus, like a cold sore that could be treated right now.
