Switch breasts: Breast soreness for breastfeeding mothers is wife common. It is because increased milk production is causing the breast engorgement. For this reason, the baby needs to feed on both sides frequently. Pl keep him awake as they fall sleep on breast and also use breast bump to freeze for later use. Great job

Try position change: Yes, when breast feeding it is helpful to alternate sides frequently. Also, if baby is not staying on the breast, it could be due to poor latch and positioning. Try different positions such as football hold, side lying, and cradle. Breastfeeding is a learning process for both mom and baby. Seek help from a certified lactation consultant if the problem persists. Congratulations and keep it up!
