Yes . . . an no: You may not be dealing with a Vaginal yeast infection--there are other possible infections that are not treated with anti-yeast medications. Also, some 'strains' of yeast may be resistant to treatment with OTC meds. Certainly, if your discharge persists beyond 4-5 days after your treatment, you should see you doctor for further evaluation. And, avoid sexual activity until this has been treated.
