The germ can also cause pus to form in joints in a child. The germ was one of the common causes of ear infections so it can also help reduce that too. Vaccine is not live. Always small chance redness at site and fever (rare)

When aggressive,they can cause pneumonia, invade the blood, infect joints and bone, infect the brain and mame or kill. The PVC vaccine contain lab created material that helps the body build antibodies to many strains of the germ.It hurts for a while and causes fever in some.
